About Me

I came to the role of Celebrant after 17 years experience as a Catholic Priest. I have come to appreciate that the journey of life can take some interesting turns, and that sometimes in order for your life to flourish, you have to follow your heart and make some big decisions. Such was my decision to leave the priesthood. I am now happily married and living a very different life. However, I will always remain grateful for the opportunities that being a priest gave me to be with people, to help them through situations that may be challenging or unfamiliar, and to celebrate with them at the significant moments of their lives. I believe I bring to the role of Celebrant a sympathetic ear, the eye of experience and a sensitive guiding hand. I have tertiary qualifications in philosophy, theology, spirituality and pastoral care. I have always enjoyed conducting ceremonies, and I look forward to being creative with you when it comes to developing your unique ceremony.

I live in Richmond, NSW, and I readily travel throughout Sydney and all metropolitan areas, the Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury, or indeed, just about anywhere I’m asked to go.
